Reducing Scope 3 Emissions

What are Scope 3 emissions?
They’re the hidden carbon costs – the emissions linked to raw materials, manufacturing, transport, and disposal. For most businesses, they make up the largest part of your environmental footprint.

We reduce Scope 3 emissions by:

  • Using recycled plastic bottles from oceans and beaches
  • Saving 0.387kWh of electricity per glove
  • Saving 5.15L of water per pair
  • Switching to 100% plastic-free packaging (recycled cardboard + water-based tape)
  • Designing garments and gloves that are reusable, washable, and biodegradable (EN 5511 certified)

We’re proud to be one of the first in the UK to offer GRS-certified (Global Recycled Standard) hi-vis garments – with full certification across the entire supply chain.
  • Minimum 50% recycled content
  • Full traceability from raw material to finished product
  • Third-party audits and verified transaction certificates
  • Certified compliance with strict chemical, social, and environmental standards
  • Each garment features a unique CU number linked directly to its certification

  • Tracked with full audit trails and certificates of destruction

We follow a clear recycling hierarchy that prioritises reuse, recycling into usable products (like insulation), and only as a last resort, energy recovery.
